Como Uma Unidade: Espaço Colaborativo Missão e Luz.

Abstract

The exploratory research inquire questions related to the structural environment found in the Casa de Amparo Missão e Luz, located in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. The study presents a bibliographic description about the concepts of: flexibility, functionality, ergonomics, sustainability and comfort, in order to seek solutions to the problems found in the place. The Casa de Amparo Missão e Luz is an outbuilding of the Spiritist Center Missão e Luz, recognized as a philanthropic entity, which promotes social work, with the purpose of assisting the needy population who resides in the Morada Nova district. After the data collection, the work is oriented to field studies with the purpose of evaluating the space. Through the visits it was noticed the lack of environments for food, leisure and recreational activities. As a structural solution, based on the bibliographical concepts studied, the use of the container was chosen. The aim of this work is, therefore, the development of flexible, functional and sustainable environments, aimed at meeting the needs of Casa de Amparo Missão e Luz, in a more viable way.
