Análise de produtividade de um processo operacional de montagem em uma fábrica de máquinas agrícolas

Abstract

Industrialization and the very development of industrial production over time have generated constant demands on entrepreneurs to optimize and make their production method more and more efficient. Given this need, several practices and techniques have been developed, with the aim of detecting, measuring, interpreting and improving productive methods, always seeking an increase in profit. This work sought to approach and apply some of these techniques in a process that composes the production line of an agricultural machine, collecting and interpreting data, discussing and proposing improvement solutions. For that, the main theories and tools were selected and the most suitable for the study applied to the problem under analysis. The problem in question was related to the low productivity of a station on the assembly line of a sugar cane harvester. Productivity measurements were taken from the plant assembly sector in two different periods and, from them, comparisons with the company's goal. Thus, it was possible to identify productivity declines, both in the sector as a whole and in the specific station, and also the factors that influenced negatively. An error in the standard time of the process of this station was identified and, after making the correction of the same one, it was noticed that it was performing as expected. In addition, this work showed the influence of the productivity of the sector in the payment bonus for the operators. Finally, it was possible to conclude that productivity indicators are extremely important for the management of a production line and that care should be taken when applying and analyzing them.
