Edifício do Instituto do Câncer do estado do Ceará: dimensionamento das vigas longitudinais do edifício

Abstract

In view of the constant use of the preformed and prestressed structures in the field of civil engineering, these structures allow for agility, technological control and a rationalization of the production process, this work presents the dimensioning, together with other works, of one of the structural elements, being the longitudinal beam in section L, which integrates the structure of the Ceará Cancer Institute Building, designed in the year 2001. With the objective of presenting the sizing and detailing of a preformed structure with initial adherent protension based on the standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), together with main recommendations and bibliographies on the subject, comparing the results to those obtained at the time. After all the calculations and analyzes of the elements separately and together, armor rates were obtained close to the expected one, compared to the original project of 2001, elucidating that despite the updating of the norms related to this project, the parameters of dimensioning remain unchanged.
