Aplicação da metodologia DMAIC na logística reversa de embalagens de óleos lubrificantes: ecoponto de Ituiutaba-MG

Abstract

This paper has verified, through performance indicators, the application of the reverse logistics in lubricant packings at a collect point in Ituiutaba-MG. Using the method of search-action, quality tools were used and structured with in DMAIC steps. To assistance and guide the study, it has used a Flow Chart, Pareto Diagram, Current Reality Tree (CRT), Cause and Effect Diagram, Goal Question Metric (GQM), Benchmarking and 5W1H tool. The Ecoponto covers companies in the packaging sector of lubricating oils that need the collection of waste, such as mechanical workshops, grinders, turners and auto centers. In the region, there are 120 companies registered at the city hall in the sector without correctly allocating their waste. Of this total, 28% are served by the project, that is, 34 companies. In 10 months of operation, 31,361 empty packings of lubricating oils were destined properly, being maintained an average of approximately 3,000 containers per month. With the performance indicators identified and monitored, it was possible to increase the frequency of discard, the invoices were delivered in time, besides those improvements were proposed when the difficulties appeared during the study.
