Summary:	Tendo em vista a importância de um sistema de proteção para uma indústria e a demanda de profissionais capacitados nesse ramo, este trabalho apresenta um estudo de proteção do sistema elétrico de uma indústria de sementes. O mesmo consiste no dimensionamento e coordenação dos elementos de proteção dessa instalação, utilizando as funções de neutro (50N e 51N), instantânea e temporizada (50 e 51, respectivamente) dos relés de sobrecorrente digitais, além da proteção diferencial dos transformadores de potência (relé 87).
Abstract:	Considering the importance of a protection system for the industry and the demand of professionals trained in this field, this work presents a study of the protection of the electrical system of a seed industry. The same consists in the design and coordination of the protection elements of this installation, using the neutral (50N and 51N), instantaneous and timed functions (50 and 51, respectively) of the digital overcurrent relays, in addition to the differential protection of the power transformers relay 87).
