Imagens e sexualidade: lendo blogs e páginas de facebook de professores/as de Ciências e Biologia

Abstract

The present study was the result of a work developed within the Program of PostGraduation in Education of the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU, in the Line of Research Education in Sciences and Mathematics. I proposed as guides to guide this study the following questions: What images, arranged in blogs written by teachers of Biology, who also look at me want me to see? How do these images work in the production of sexualities, bodies and genres? What do they carry? For that, I defined as a general objective to analyze images published in publications related to sexuality, body and gender in blogs of teachers of Science and Biology and its repercussion on facebook pages related to them and the specific objectives relate to the investigation of the constituent elements Of images published in publications related to sexuality, body and gender by blogs and the scrutinizing of the ways in which the selected images operate in the production of models of sexualities, bodies and genres. The research has taken the electronic media - blogs and facebook pages of science and biology teachers - as a field of concern, observing the constitution and operability about how sexuality is presented, observing its statements and the images associated with them. In order to base the research, methodologies were used that dialogue with the images, DidiHuberman, Jacques Rancière, Gilles Deleuze and Foucaultian discourses. From the survey on the blogs and facebook pages, we analyzed the scientific discourse in dialogue with the mediatic discourse, the discourse of imagery production within the discourse of sexuality, the discourse of normality and (a) normality and discourse of resonance sex -gender-sexuality. The study allowed us to look at the contemporary strategies used to implement the device of sexuality in media spaces such as blogs and facebook pages, in the ways in which men and women are, as well as the disruptive force of the image in producing subjectivities.
