| Summary: | O artigo tem como objetivo identificar fatores determinantes na adesão dos tutores ao tratamento do cão diagnosticado com Diabetes Mellitus, na cidade de Uberlândia. Foram utilizados os preceitos da pesquisa teórica fundamentada, por análise de codificação aberta que possibilitaram a utilização de dados obtidos de anamnese clínica de pacientes do serviço de endocrinologia do HV-UFU. O referencial teórico e a pesquisa evidenciaram a importância da identificação de dificuldades relacionadas aos pilares do tratamento do diabetes mellitus: alimentação, insulinoterapia, exercícios físicos e monitoração. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this article is to identify values that determine the adherence of tutors to the treatment of dogs diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus in the city of Uberlândia.. The precepts of the theoretical research based on open coding were used, which enabled the use of data obtained from clinical anamnesis of patients from the HV-UFU endocrinology department. It used precepts of the theoretical reference and the research evidenced the importance of identifying difficulties related to the pillars of diabetes mellitus treatment: feeding, insulin therapy, physical exercises and monitoring. |
