Estado e sociabilidade entre os feirantes do município de Uberlândia - MG.

Abstract

The present work seeks to analyze the themes "State" and "Sociability" among the fairgrounds of the Municipality of Uberlândia-MG, to reveal some aspects of the state logic in fomenting, enabling, guaranteeing and giving continuity to the city's free fairs, to analyze how the fairs are conducted in response to all municipal government guidelines. The reason for this research and the theme is related to the fact that the author is a Fiscal Agent of the Municipality of Uberlândia that acts, sometimes supervising the marketers, sometimes coordinating the team of inspectors and / or promoting policies and drafting regulations. That is, it is the State itself in direct contact with the fairgrounds, giving rise to specific aspects of sociability between tax and fair. Through the ethnographic research method, with the use of techniques such as participant observation, semi-structured interviews, seizure of the memory of marketers, and analysis of legislation, it was possible to show that the State adopts a rationality of management based on disciplinarization with punishment of deviations, being the prosecutor an important preposto in this enterprise. On the other hand, the tradesman adopts the tactic of approaching the fiscals as a way of breaking the institutional barrier and, being both in direct contact, for a considerable time, the relation is so close that deviations are tolerated, as well as the punishments, when necessary , are accepted.
