| Title: | Performance de fundos com restrições de resgate em períodos de crise |

| Summary: | Considerando a particpação dos fundos de investimentos no Brasil, e também dos efeitos apresentados pela crise financeira, este trabalho analisa a performance dos fundos de investimento com restrições de resgate em períodos de crise. A finalidade deste trabalho é verificar a performance em períodos de crise, em comparação com fundos que não possuem restrições de liquidez. A base foi composta por 1.118 fundos de ações no período de 2008 a 2014. Para mensurar a performance dos fundos, optou-se por usar o índice de Sharpe médio, tratando-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, descritiva e documental. Os resultados mostram que em períodos de crise fundos com maior período de resgate não necessariamente atingiram melhor performance média. |
| Abstract: | Facing the economic importance of the investments fund in Brazil, and the relevance in studying investments in times of crisis, this paper analyses the investment funds performance with restriction about redemption in times of crisis. The purpose of this work is to verify the liquidity in difficult times of crisis, making a comparison with those funds that do not have liquidity restrictions. The basis is made of 1118 funds of stock analysed in the period that goes from 2008 to 2014. In order to measure the funds' performance, it was used the medium Sharpe index, once it is a quantitative, descriptive and documentary research. The results show that in times of crisis, funds with greater redemption periods not necessarily got better medium performance. |
