| Summary: | O presente trabalho investiga a infraestrutura e a logística das praças de Uberlândia-MG sob a ótica da produção teatral, analisando as potencialidades e os desafios de ocupar esses espaços públicos com espetáculos artísticos. A metodologia adotada combinou o levantamento bibliográfico sobre a função social e histórica das praças com uma abordagem qualitativa, estruturada em dois eixos: entrevistas com atores e atrizes de grupos locais e a observação participante durante o processo de criação e circulação do espetáculo "A Destruição de Nurlândia", desenvolvido na disciplina de Ateliê de Criação Cênica da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). |
| Abstract: | This study investigates the infrastructure and logistics of public squares in Uberlândia-MG from the perspective of theatrical production, analyzing the potential and challenges of occupying these public spaces with artistic performances. The methodology combined a literature review on the social and historical functions of squares with a qualitative approach structured around two axes: interviews with actors and actresses from local groups, and participant observation during the creation and tour of the play "A Destruição de Nurlândia" (The Destruction of Nurlandia). This production was developed within the Scenic Creation Atelier course at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). |
