Entre furtos e devoluções: o uso do desenho animado Carmen Sandiego (2019) para o ensino de história e a valorização do patrimônio histórico-cultural

Abstract

This study sought to analyze whether the cartoon Carmen Sandiego (2019) can contribute to history teaching and the appreciation of historical and cultural heritage, based on the developments of the animated plot, which involves robberies/thefts and returns of various heritage sites. It was possible to identify the possibilities within animations for historical learning, which also permeates an understanding of the notions of historical and cultural heritage, the values added to them, and the potential of working involving the three central themes: the cartoon (Carmen Sandiego), history teaching, and historical and cultural heritage.
