| Summary: | A Astronomia sempre esteve presente no nosso dia a dia, sendo o elo entre o nosso planeta e o infinito, permitindo-nos explorar e conhecer o cosmos (Silva et. al., 2024). Apesar de ser uma das ciências mais antigas que existem, a Astronomia tem sido desafiadora tanto para professores que lecionam este conteúdo, quanto aos alunos que precisam compreender assuntos com um elevado nível de abstração. Por isso, vemos que se faz importante saber mais sobre ela e os fenômenos que são vistos da Terra e que impactam nossa vida, fazendo necessário pensarmos qual a melhor maneira de abordarmos este assunto com os estudantes, principalmente em como oferecer uma boa base nos anos iniciais para que eles possam chegar nos anos finais com algum conhecimento de base que possa ser aprofundado. Nesse sentido, esse trabalho procura evidenciar a importância de ensinar conteúdos astronômicos desde os anos iniciais do ensino fundamental e, para isso, discute sobre as dificuldades enfrentadas, analisando documentos oficiais e o que eles propõem. Além disso, verificamos os tipos de recursos disponíveis para o ensino de Astronomia com foco em compreender os benefícios de seu ensino desde a mais tenra idade. |
| Abstract: | Astronomy has always been present in our daily lives, being the link between our planet and the infinite, allowing us to explore and understand the cosmos (Silva et. al., 2024). Although being one of the oldest sciences that exist, Astronomy has been challenging for both teachers who teach this subject and for students who need to understand topics with a high level of abstraction. Therefore, we see that it is important to know more about it and the phenomena that are seen from Earth and that impact our lives, making it necessary for us to think about the best way to approach this subject with students, especially in how to provide a good foundation in the early years so that they can enter the later years with some basic knowledge that can be further deepened. In this sense, this work seeks to highlight the importance of teaching astronomical content from the early years of elementary education and, for this, discusses the difficulties faced, analyzing official documents and what they propose. In addition, we examined the types of resources available for teaching Astronomy with a focus on understanding the benefits of its teaching from a very young age. |
