Pedagogia como Encantamento em Laranjeiras: investigações sobre a comunidade uberlandense e sua relação com o teatro

Abstract

This Final Course Work is the result of a two-year research project carried out by the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Grants (PIBIC) of the Minas Gerais State Research Support Foundation (FAPEMIG), supervised by Professor Henrique Bezerra de Souza, whose objective is to investigate the relationships of the adult members of the Laranjeiras neighborhood, located in the southern outskirts of Uberlândia - MG, with the theatrical arts through practices and the enjoyment of scenic experiments. This research analyzes geographically the distribution of cultural points in Uberlândia and observes, through interviews with cultural managers and residents of the Laranjeiras neighborhood, the reasons for the limited access of the peripheral population to the city's cultural events, as well as proposing the promotion of local cultural production through the execution of a theater workshop and artistic interventions in the Laranjeiras region.
