The aimed of this study was evaluate the soft tissue changes following bone tissue movement in patients undergoing orthognathic surgery with maxillomandibular advancement and counterclockwise rotation. Were obtained froomputed CT scans of the face conducted the treatment process and categorized into preoperative (T1) and postoperative (T2). For tissue bone and soft tissue analysis, the images were processed using Dolphin® and Horos® software. Statistical analysis was performed descriptively. In maxilary, point A moved 3,2mm (±0,7), and mandible points B, Pog, and Me moved 12,7mm (±11,7), 14,3mm (±17,6) and 17,3mm (±7,3) respectively. Related to teeth references, points U1-VRP and L1-VRP moved of 9,4mm (±4,9) and 8,2mm (±6,2). In the soft tissue, middle filter movement was 1,6mm (±1,8). At the supradental and infradental points, the changes were 2,1mm (±0,8) and 0,7mm (±0,7). The mental eminence presented 1,6 mm ±1,0 and the chin 1,0 mm ±0,8. In proportion between the changes in soft tissue and bone tissue, in the middle philtrum, the highest proportion was 124,1%. In the upper lip, the highest proportion was 38,5%. Concluding, CT scans appear to be a reliable tool for 3D assessment, however, in this study, the proportion of soft tissue changes resulting from bone tissue has not yet been elucidated.pt_BR
