Perfil dos pacientes atendidos em um projeto online de atendimento multiprofissional em saúde mental e seus sentimentos a respeito

Abstract

The article aims to describe the profile of patients treated in an online multidisciplinary mental health care project and their feelings about it. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, which was dedicated to presenting the profile of patients and how they felt before and after multidisciplinary mental health care. The research sample was a total of 1221 services carried out from the beginning, on April 22, 2020, until October 31, 2023. The results showed that 70.2% were female, in terms of race/color, white predominated with 46%, family income 54% indicated that they obtained between one and three minimum wages, 82.6% were UFU students and 9% students from other institutions, totaling 91.5% of the patients treated were students, 7.5% people from the external community (with no connection to the university in question , or even from another city/state) and 0.9% of UFU server users. Among the 98 undergraduate, postgraduate and technical courses mentioned, the engineering course predominated in the search for services with 13.3%, the course period stood out with 13.6%, the 5th period, 19% of participants reside in the Santa Mônica neighborhood, in the same city where the university is located, in comorbidity 79.7% said they did not have any pre-existing disease, 18% registered diagnoses related to mental health and 82% other diseases, 96.5% reported improvement after reception session, 0.3% reported worsening, 3.2% reported maintaining the same feeling. Given the current scenario, it is considered essential to understand and recognize the transformations that are taking place, seeking to demystify this practice so that it can increasingly be guided by discussions. We suggest new studies for this growing field.
