Inclusão Social da Pessoa Idosa nos serviços ofertados na Proteção Social Básica

Abstract

This article analyzed the effectiveness of Basic Social Protection (PSB) for the social inclusion of elderly people. It is known that the number of elderly people in the country has been gradually increasing, which makes it necessary to strengthen and plan public policies that increasingly guarantee social protection and the inclusion of these people in spaces of inclusion and social coexistence, to active and healthy aging. More specifically, it described the main activities offered in the Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds Service (SCFV), and their contribution to the quality of life and well-being of this public, as this service contributes positively to improving physical well-being and mental health of the elderly person. This is a research, whose procedure is a bibliographical review, with a qualitative approach, and of an exploratory nature. The work “social inclusion of the elderly in the services offered in Basic Social Protection” has as its object of study: researching what actions are carried out for the social inclusion of the elderly in the PSB.
