| Summary: | A BRI, lançada em 2013 pela China, visa fortalecer as conexões econômicas, comerciais e infraestruturais entre a China e diversas regiões do mundo. Consequentemente, a América Latina tem despertado interesse devido aos seus recursos naturais, mercados em expansão e oportunidades de investimento. Ao compreender a influência da BRI na América Latina através do estudo de caso da Argentina, do Chile e do Peru, três países que já aderiram ao projeto, o artigo objetiva avaliar oportunidades e obstáculos para a adesão de outros países da região, como o Brasil, além de identificar estratégias para promover uma cooperação mutuamente benéfica entre a China e os países latino-americanos. |
| Abstract: | The BRI, launched in 2013 by China, aims to strengthen economic, trade, and infrastructure connections between China and various world regions. Consequently, Latin America has attracted interest due to its natural resources, expanding markets, and investment opportunities. By understanding the influence of the BRI in Latin America through the case study of Argentina, Chile, and Peru, three countries that have already joined the project, the article aims to assess opportunities and obstacles for the accession of other countries in the region, such as Brazil, in addition to identifying strategies to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Latin American countries. |
