Resumo
A região urbana do município de Uberlândia-MG, principalmente o Setor Sul, tem crescido de forma acelerada. As informações geotécnicas do subsolo são essenciais para subsidiar os trabalhos de construção civil, pois irão determinar o tipo mais eficiente de fundação ou outra intervenção geotécnica para a estrutura a ser construída. Este trabalho tem como objetivo contribuir com o acervo de informações geotécnicas do subsolo do Setor Sul de Uberlândia, a fim de auxiliar ações futuras de planejamento uso e ocupação do meio físico, de acordo com os dados de tipo de solo, profundidade do nível de água e índice de resistência a penetração (NSPT), sendo todos estes, obtidos de sondagens SPT executadas por empresas locais. Foi
adotada a coleta de uma sondagem SPT por quilômetro quadrado. Assim, a escala do mapeamento está entre 1:500.000 e 1:100.000, sendo aplicável para o planejamento de uso e ocupação do solo. Os pontos de sondagens foram mapeados no software QGIS, de acordo com sua localização, nomeação, dados de nível de água e com o NSPT médio. Por fim, obteve-se o tipo de solo predominante, consistência ou compacidade do mesmo e níveis de água da região em estudo.
Abstract
The urban region of the municipality of Uberlândia-MG-Brazil, especially the Southern Sector, has grown
rapidly. The geotechnical information of the subsoil is essential to subsidize the civil construction work, which will determine the most efficient type of foundation or other geotechnical intervention for the structure to be built. This work aims to contribute to the collection of geotechnical information of the subsoil of the Southern Sector of Uberlândia, to assist future actions of planning, use and occupation of the physical environment, according to the data of soil type, depth of the water level and penetration resistance index (NSPT). All the NSPT indexes were obtained via SPT probing executed by local companies. It was defined the collection of one SPT survey per square kilometer, so the scale of the mapping is between 1:500,000 and 1:100,000, which is applicable to planning the land occupation and use. The prospected points were mapped in the QGIS software, according to their location, naming, water level data and the average NSPT. Finally, there were obtained the predominant soil type, its consistency or compacity, and the water levels of the studied region.
