Novas regras previdenciárias: uma revisão bibliográfica

Abstract

By recognizing social security as a social right guaranteed to all Brazilians who contribute compulsorily, the study aims to analyze publications about the Brazilian social security system from 2012 to 2022. The specific objectives include: analyzing the expected results of the 2019 social security reform; highlighting the main advantages and discussed aspects; and relating the measures during the transition period. The methodology adopted is qualitative and bibliographical. From the analysis of the examined texts, it became evident the need for a review of social security, considering the last update was carried out through Constitutional Amendment No. 103, on November 12, 2019. It emphasizes the continuous need for evaluation, adjustments, and critical reflection on social security policies, necessary for the sustainability and effectiveness of the system in the long term. Therefore, the research contributes not only to the current understanding but also to guiding future investigations, as it promotes a continuous dialogue on the effectiveness and adequacy of the social security system in the country.
