Resumo
A presente pesquisa possui como objetivo compreender quais os sentidos que artistas da comunidade LGBTQIA+ dão à arte e suas produções. Para tal finalidade, foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com artistas pertencentes a esta comunidade através de plataformas digitais disponíveis a eles e utilizada a Análise do Discurso como método de análise dos dados. Evidenciaram-se as seguintes temáticas: a discussão sobre o papel e o lugar da arte no mundo social e na experiência subjetiva; o contexto psicossocial de discussão e produção teórica, cultural e artística sobre as sexualidades; a relação entre a expressão artística e o lugar social e existencial das experiências LGBTQIA+; a relação entre arte, política e subjetividade e as dificuldades e preconceitos vividos no campo da arte. Assim a pesquisa evidenciou que para os entrevistados a arte possui significados diversos, que envolvem subjetividade, exploração de si mesmo, denúncia da realidade, enlace com o campo da política, entre outros.

Abstract
This research aims to understand the meanings that artists from the LGBTQIA+ community give to art and their productions. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were carried out with artists belonging to this community through digital platforms available to them and Discourse Analysis was used as a data analysis method. The following themes were highlighted: the discussion about the role and place of art in the social world and in subjective experience; the psychosocial context of theoretical, cultural and artistic discussion and production on sexualities; the relationship between artistic expression and the social and existential place of LGBTQIA+ experiences; the relationship between art, politics and subjectivity and the difficulties and prejudices experienced in the field of art. Thus, the research showed that for those interviewed, art has different meanings, which involve subjectivity, exploration of oneself, denunciation of reality, links with the field of politics, among others.
