| Summary: | A presente monografia objetiva analisar as relações entre streamers e a Twitch para a realização do live streaming, partindo da perspectiva da subordinação do trabalho a plataformas digitais. Deste modo, destaca-se as transformações do mundo do trabalho após 1970, com enfoque na uberização do trabalho e na subordinação deste a empresas aplicativo. Ademais, explora-se, por meio da observação participante, as dinâmicas de monetização das lives na Twitch e as dimensões do trabalho do streamer. Destaca-se os aspectos de autogerenciamento subordinado e da consolidação do streamer enquanto trabalhador just-in-time. Neste sentido, por meio da análise do evento Apagão da Twitch, consolidam-se as perspectivas dos streamers sobre seu trabalho e os desafios da organização coletiva do trabalhador subordinado a plataformas digitais. Na análise é possível identificar que a subordinação do trabalho dos streamers a plataforma Twitch conduz a relação dos produtores de conteúdo para com a plataforma. |
| Abstract: | This monograph aims to analyze the relationships between streamers and Twitch for live streaming, from the perspective of work subordination to digital platforms. Thus, it highlights the transformations in the world of work after 1970, focusing on the uberization of work and its subordination to app-based companies. Additionally, it explores, through participant observation, the dynamics of monetizing streams on Twitch and the dimensions of a streamer's work, emphasizing aspects of subordinate self-management and the consolidation of the streamer as a just-in-time worker. In this sense, through the analysis of the Twitch blackout event, it consolidates the perspectives of streamers on their work and the challenges of collective organization for workers subordinate to digital platforms. The analysis identifies that the subordination of streamers' work to the Twitch platform shapes the relationship of content producers with the platform. |
