| Summary: | O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar e analisar, brevemente, elementos Vitorianos presentes na obra de ficção científica Não me abandone jamais, de Kazuo Ishiguro. Embora as épocas se distanciem, a literatura de Ishiguro resgata recursos literários do passado para constituir uma narrativa atual, com importantes questionamentos sociais que guiam o leitor por um caminho de reflexão a respeito da condição dos personagens principais, clones. Sendo assim, estabelecer a percepção sobre tais manifestações permite uma leitura mais aprofundada e consciente da obra, e ainda contribui para que sua mensagem seja atemporal. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this article is to identify and analyze briefly Victorian elements present in the science fiction book Never let me go, by Kazuo Ishiguro. Although the eras are far apart, Ishiguro's literature rescues literary resources from the past to constitute a current narrative, with important social questions that guide the reader through a path of reflection regarding the condition of the main characters, clones. Therefore, establishing the perception of such manifestations allows for a more in-depth and conscious reading of the book, and also contributes to making its message timeless. |
