Summary:	Este trabalho tem como objetivo sintetizar as alterações que ocorreram na ABNT NBR 6118 com a atualização da norma publicada em 2014 neste ano de 2023. A redação do trabalho consistiu em sintetizar as alterações publicadas por especialistas e membros do comitê de atualização da norma no decorrer do processo de revisão e publicação e sintetizar as alterações e interpretações dos itens modificados. A ABNT NBR 6118:2023 trouxe muitas melhorias em seu texto, mas manteve a maioria dos conceitos, facilitando apenas a interpretação dos mesmos com a inserção de figuras e textos explicitando melhor o que cada item busca informar ou definir.
Abstract:	This work aims to synthesize the changes that occurred in ABNT NBR 6118 with the update of the standard published in 2014 in this year of 2023. The essay of this work consisted in synthesizing the presented changes by experts and members of the standard update committee during de review and publication process and synthesize changes and interpretations of modified items. The ABNT NBR 6118:2023 brought many improvements to your text, but kept most of the concepts, only facilitating their interpretation with the insertion of figures and texts, better explaining what each item seeks to inform or define.
