| Title: | A ocupação da mulher e a desigualdade de gênero na área contábil: Um estudo bibliográfico |

| Summary: | Levando em consideração a história como um todo, as relações familiares são estruturadas de forma patriarcal, em que os homens possuem o papel de provedores com a responsabilidade de proteger a família enquanto as mulheres ficam com a responsabilidade de cuidar da casa e dos filhos. O cenário patriarcal reflete também na contabilidade, onde as mulheres podem enfrentar barreiras ao alcançar sucesso em locais de prestígio, independentemente do nível de qualificação. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar pesquisas anteriores que abordaram a desigualdade de gênero na contabilidade nos últimos 10 anos. O estudo, em seus aspectos metodológicos, é classificado como descritivo, qualitativo e bibliográfico. A amostra foi composta por 37 artigos e o período amostral leva em consideração os anos de 2012 a 2022. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que se trata de um assunto mais pesquisado na graduação, uma vez que os trabalhos de pós-graduações publicados representam apenas 8% da amostra analisada. Pode-se perceber também que o tema passou a ter maior abrangência a partir de 2017 e as pesquisas geralmente possuem a aplicação de entrevistas e questionários em sua metodologia. |
| Abstract: | Taking history into account, family relationships are structured in a patriarchal way, in which men have the role of providers with the responsibility of protecting the family while women would be responsible for taking care of the house and children. The patriarchal scenario is also reflected in accounting, where women can face barriers when achieving success in prestigious places, regardless of their qualification level. The present study aimed to analyze previous research that addressed gender inequality in accounting in the last 10 years. The study, in its methodological aspects, is classified as descriptive, qualitative, and bibliographic. The sample consisted of thirty-seven articles and the sample period considers the years 2012 to 2022. The results obtained showed that this is a more researched subject in undergraduate studies, since published postgraduate works represent only 8% of the analyzed sample. It can also be noticed that the theme started to have greater scope from 2017 and most of the sample has the application of interviews and questionnaires in its methodology. |
