| Summary: | A pesquisa realizada pretende compreender quais os possíveis impactos da tecnologia 5G na geopolítica? Portanto, o objetivo geral é fazer uma avaliação de alguns temas de geopolítica relacionados a adoção da tecnologia 5G de telecomunicações. Foi utilizado o Método Indutivo, realizando uma avaliação de alguns temas de geopolítica relacionados a adoção da tecnologia 5G na telefonia móvel. Foi feito um levantamento teórico sobre poder, geopolítica e atores internacionais, visando um embasamento para compreender a interdependência entre os Estados e as GCTs relacionadas às Tecnologias de Informação e de Telecomunicações, e compreender as diferenças de impactos entre os diversos países e regiões do mundo. Em seguida, para a compreensão das lideranças e estruturas de mercado, foi feita a análise de um levantamento de dados em âmbito global realizado por meio de literatura publicada; análises de mercado publicadas pelas Fortune, Bird & Bird e Gartner; e sites oficiais governamentais e corporativos. Nesta análise foram percebidas as líderes mundiais em fornecimento de equipamentos para rede 5G, as Provedoras de Serviços de Internet e operadoras de rede 5G. |
| Abstract: | This research intends to understand what are the possible impacts of 5G technology on geopolitics? Therefore, the general objective is to evaluate some geopolitical issues related to the adoption of 5G telecommunications technology. The Inductive Method was used, carrying out an assessment of some geopolitical issues related to the adoption of 5G technology in mobile telephony. A theoretical survey was carried out on power, geopolitics and international actors, aiming at a basis for understanding the interdependence between States and (GTC) related to Information and Telecommunications Technologies, and understanding the differences in impacts between different countries and regions of the world. Then, in order to understand market leadership and structures, an analysis of a global data survey carried out through published literature was carried out; market analysis published by Fortune, Bird & Bird and Gartner; and official government and corporate websites. In this analysis, the world leaders in supplying equipment for the 5G network, Internet Service Providers and 5G network carriers were perceived. |
