Fazendo do fio, costura: o atendimento às vítimas de violência sexual infanto-juvenil no pronto-socorro

Abstract

Through concerns lived by the intern psychologist who takes part in a program called “Atenção à Saúde da Criança” in a General Hospital, this article aimed to share the experience in the multiprofessional care to children and adolescents who were victims of sexual violence in a Pediatric Emergency Room (PS-Ped). A project in permanent education to professionals from Psychology and Social Work and five sessions of psychological care realized in the PS-Ped helped to compose this report. It was possible to observe that the healthcare team finds challenges and difficulties handling this kind of service, so the opportunity of having training could be seen as an important trigger to promote discussion and construct the PS-Ped caring service. It is also recognisable the necessity of interlocution between different team members and other workers from the protection network, considering the sexual violence complexity. Psychology had been showing to be essential to children and adolescents’ care, as the “among place” to professionals and network services as well as to the victims and their accompanying members. Shall be considered that the uni and multiprofessional practices during sexual violence victims care require a careful look and a diligent practice; and that it is still being constructed the modes of how to listen and take care in a PS-Ped.
