Summary:	O comportamento do indivíduo em relação a suas finanças e as suas tomadas de decisões pode ser encontrado de diversas maneiras distintas nas pesquisas realizadas dentro dessa temática. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a existência de relação entre carreira profissional e os padrões de investimentos. Os testes estatísticos foram realizados pelo IBM SPSS STATISTICS, programa que permite organizar os dados estudados. Constatou-se que existe associação entre o status das contas dos investidores e suas áreas de atuação, com destaque para área de negócio. Apesar desse resultado, constatou que grande parte desses investidores também apresentam números maiores do que os esperados de contas desativadas.
Abstract:	The individual's behavior in relation to their finances and their decision-making can be found in several different ways in the research conducted. Thus, the aim of this study was to identify the existence of a relationship between professional career and investment patterns. The statistical tests were performed by IBM SPSS STATISTICS, a program that allows the organized data studied. It was found that there is an association between the status of investors' accounts and their areas of activity, with emphasis on the business area. Despite this result, it found that most of these investors also have higher-than-expected numbers of deactivated accounts.
