Análise de viabilidade e projeto funcional do acesso ao campus Glória da UFU

Abstract

Due to the great increase in urbanization in recent decades in Brazil, there have been changes in the behavior of the population in relation to its displacement and flow of vehicles. Urban mobility should be studied to promote a fluid and safe displacement to the population. It is well known that the intense flow contributes to the occurrence of accidents. These can be mitigated with the planning and technical study of traffic operations and infrastructure of the site, systematizing the operation of traffic so that the flow of the circulation of vehicles and people happens in a safe, agile and fluid way. The Gloria campus, of the Federal University of Uberlândia, located in the south of Uberlândia/MG, currently has three existing accesses, one of them by BR-365 and the rest by BR-050. Safe and easy access to the campus is extremely important. Thus, this work aims to evaluate access to campus Gloria - UFU by BR-365 and propose a functional project as a solution for the current condition of traffic on site, analyzing the campus master plan and aiming at access to the university by various means of transport.
