| Summary: | As pontes são estruturas amplamente utilizadas desde a antiguidade e têm o importante papel de ultrapassar obstáculos e garantir o fluxo livre de pessoas, animais e veículos por uma via. Pelo fato da madeira ser um material com diversas vantagens construtivas, as pontes executadas com esse insumo sempre tiveram grande relevância, apesar de após o período colonial, terem perdido espaço para aquelas feitas com concreto armado ou aço. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo o dimensionamento das peças de uma ponte de madeira com estrutura em vigas treliçadas, com base nas diretrizes da norma ABNT NBR 7190:1997 e de outros trabalhos científicos que tratam do assunto. |
| Abstract: | Bridges are structures widely used since ancient times and have the important role of overcoming obstacles and ensuring the free flow of people, animals, and vehicles over a roadway. Because wood is a material with several constructive advantages, bridges made with this material have always had great relevance, although after the colonial period, they have lost space to those made with reinforced concrete or steel. Therefore, the present work deals with the dimensioning of the parts of a wooden bridge with truss beam structure, based on the guidelines of the ABNT NBR 7190:1997 standard and other scientific works that deal with the subject. |
