| Summary: | Em um cenário permeado pelas novas tecnologias, fica cada vez mais evidente a intensificação das demandas por ferramentas tecnológicas que propiciem a participação do público na produção noticiosa na mídia contemporânea. No caso do telejornalismo da televisão aberta brasileira, observa-se a utilização de aplicativos digitais como estratégia de incentivo para participação do telespectador. Em Uberlândia, esse panorama pode ser exemplificado por meio do telejornal MG1, diariamente veiculado pela TV Integração – afiliada da Rede Globo na região do triângulo mineiro. Objetivando compreender, primeiramente, os tipos de mensagens enviadas pelos telespectadores para o telejornal e, num segundo momento, verificar se existe ou não associação entre a quantidade de mensagens recebidas e o conteúdo do telejornal veiculado no dia, esta pesquisa se desenvolveu com base metodológica no estudo de caso. A avaliação dos dados coletados demonstrou que é possível identificar características narrativas no telejornal que são capazes de potencializar a participação do público. Além disso, os resultados também indicaram a necessidade de implementação de uma estratégia para a utilização desses aplicativos na produção noticiosa televisiva regional. |
| Abstract: | In a scenario permeated by new technologies, the intensification of demands for technological tools that encourage public participation in news production in contemporary media is increasingly evident. In the case of telejournalism on Brazilian open television, there is the use of digital applications as a strategy to encourage viewer participation. In Uberlândia, this panorama can be exemplified through the MG1 newscast, broadcast daily by TV Integração – an affiliate of Rede Globo in the region of the Minas Gerais triangle. Aiming to understand, firstly, the types of messages sent by viewers to the news and, secondly, to verify whether or not there is an association between the amount of messages received and the content of the news broadcast on the day, this research was developed with a methodological basis in the case study. The evaluation of the collected data showed that it is possible to identify narrative characteristics in the news that are capable of enhancing public participation. In addition, the results also indicated the need to implement a strategy for the use of these applications in regional television news production |
