| Summary: | Uma vez que as cuidadoras encontram-se à frente dos cuidados diretos e cotidianos das crianças e dos adolescentes em abrigos institucionais, sua postura e a qualidade de suas interações representam importantes referenciais para o desenvolvimento dos sujeitos acolhidos e para o alcance dos objetivos propostos pelas políticas públicas sociais. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi mapear e analisar o papel de cuidadoras de crianças e adolescentes em abrigos institucionais a partir de uma revisão integrativa de literatura. As buscas foram realizadas nas bases on-line SciELO, PePSIC e Redalyc, visando artigos publicados entre 2011 e 2020. Retornaram 887 artigos e, após a exclusão por critérios, 15 compuseram o corpus de análise. A partir da leitura destes, na íntegra, os achados relevantes foram agrupados em dois eixos temáticos: 1) Perfil e Funções das Cuidadoras e 2) O Trabalho das Cuidadoras. Os resultados e a discussão realizados apontam para um paradoxo: sujeitos (cuidadoras) negligenciados em um sistema que prevê a luta contra a negligência de outros sujeitos (crianças e adolescentes). |
| Abstract: | Once caregivers are responsible for the direct and daily care of children and adolescents in institutional shelters, their behavior and the quality of their interactions represent important references for the development of the sheltered ones and the achievement of social public policies purposes. Therefore, this study objective was to map and analyze the role of children and adolescents’ caregivers in institutional shelters, based on an integrative literature review. The searches were accomplished in the online databases SciELO, PePSIC and Redalyc, including published articles between 2011 and 2020 only. From the reading of these, in full, the relevant findings were grouped into thematic categories: 1) Caregivers’ Profile and Assignments and 2) Caregivers’ Work. The end results and considerations indicate a paradox: neglected individuals (caregivers) in a system that foresees the fight against the negligence of other individuals (children and adolescents). |
