| Summary: | O presente artigo tem como objetivo investigar a contribuição da indústria dos animes para a política do softpower global do Japão, analisando os perfis dos animes de maior sucesso de 1990 à 2020. Para tanto, a pesquisa irá abordar o softpower como fonte teórica, com enfoque na comparação e na análise sobre os perfis das animações cinematográficas japonesas. Este exercício é relevante para entendermos qual a contribuição dessas obras para o softpower cultural japonês, tendo em vista que a indústria nacional de animação japonesa ocupa o segundo lugar mundial de valores de bilheterias superiores à 1,5 bilhões de dólares em suas cinco principais obras apresentadas entre as décadas de 1990 e 2020. |
| Abstract: | This article aims to investigate the contribution of the anime industry to Japan's global softpower policy, analyzing the profiles of the most successful animes from 1990 to 2020. Therefore, the research will address softpower as a theoretical source, with a focus in the comparison and analysis of the profiles of Japanese cinematographic animations. This exercise is relevant for us to understand the contribution of these works to Japanese cultural softpower, considering that the national Japanese animation industry occupies the second place in the world with box office values exceeding 1.5 billion dollars in its five main works presented between the 1990s and 2020s. |
