Um breve estudo sobre a possibilidade e recepção de ideias astronômicas pelas crianças através de análise de um episódio do desenho “Show da Luna”

Abstract

This work brings an analysis of the episode “Sol vai noite vem”, from the animation “Show da Luna!”. First, there are our memories and experiences that, in part, helped in choosing the theme. Afterwards, a brief discussion of general aspects of animation. Then, we analyzed the episode based on categories raised in 'posteriori', which were: a brief analysis to see if the answer made in the drawing had been answered correctly, and if the referred episode contributes to the children's scientific learning, noting whether any scientific term was used to explain the astronomical phenomenon throughout the episode. The objective of this work concerns the reach generated in the teaching and learning process through the use of the cartoon “O Show da Luna”. Through this study, we aim to search for possibilities of reception and understanding that children exposed to episodes of the aforementioned drawing have about astronomy, in particular, about how the days and nights occur. For the analysis, the complete episode of the drawing was watched and it was transcribed in full. The results of the analysis showed that the plot of the episode revolves around solving the doubt raised by the characters, resorting to imagination when necessary. Luna shows herself to be a curious child, experimenter and full of reasons, who seeks to help her younger brother, Jupiter, to navigate the world of knowledge and make-believe, guided by it. Finally, we concluded that the drawing answered the question satisfactorily, although it left unexplored points, for example, the movements that the Earth makes around its own axis and around the Sun, which were not clear in the episode. thus lead the watching audience to ignorance of these facts.
