Elaboração do orçamento de uma residência unifamiliar utilizando a metodologia bim para a extração dos quantitativos

Abstract

The Building Information Manager (BIM) is applied due to its efficiency and agility in project development and management. The benefits and changes promoted by the use of BIM, such as improving sustainability and predictability of results in design companies are seen in several international and national studies. The main objective of this paper is the utilization of the BIM methodology to obtain a construction budget of a two-floor single-family house and use this information to obtain a budget. To do so, it was initially necessary a bibliographical search to deepen the topics and the utilization of software Revit® to develop the projects and Orçafascio® for budgeting. As a result, a new understanding of how this methodology facilitates budgeting for construction works emerged, as well as the noticing of more reliability in quantitative collection of services, since they are acquired automatically, without the cost engineer’s influence. Some adversities regarding the supplied projects and their linking with the design and budget softwares were found during the development of the paper. Nevertheless, after the solution of these problems, the making of the budget was fairly quick and agile using the BIM methodology.
