| Summary: | A saúde é um tema transdisciplinar, amplo, próprio de seu tempo e por isso de difícil conceituação. No campo teórico, há tempos deixou de ser compreendida como uma condição biológica individual, e voltou a se vincular às condições sociais, econômicas e ambientais que condicionam a situação de saúde das populações. Por exemplo, as vulnerabilidades sociais afetam a saúde e a qualidade de vida. Compreender a situação de saúde da população é entender as suas determinações, identificando no território os contextos de vida, no lugar onde vive. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi mapear a vulnerabilidade social no município de Cascalho Rico - MG para subsidiar programas de promoção da saúde e construção de territórios saudáveis. Utilizamos indicadores e índices que representam aspectos individuais, sociais e programáticos da vulnerabilidade social, levando em consideração as múltiplas dimensões do contexto de vida das pessoas, como renda familiar, sociodemografia, educação, saúde, condição de moradia e do entorno (vizinhança). Índices são valores agregados que têm o objetivo de sintetizar uma situação a partir dos indicadores. Propomos três índices, o Índice de Vulnerabilidade da População (IVP) o Índice de Vulnerabilidade do Lugar (IVL) e o Índice de Vulnerabilidade do Território (IVT), construídos a partir de 37 indicadores, com dados do E-SUS AB das microáreas da Unidade de Saúde da Família de Cascalho Rico que cobre 100% da área urbana para subsidiar a compreensão da situação e promover saúde no município. Os resultados demonstram que os territórios de maior vulnerabilidade da população também são os que possuem maior vulnerabilidade do lugar, que se constituem em territórios de vulnerabilidade social. O mapeamento destes territórios de vulnerabilidade social pode subsidiar políticas de promoção da saúde e construção de territórios saudáveis, para melhorar a situação de saúde e a qualidade de vida da população. |
| Abstract: | Health is a transdisciplinary theme, broad, unique of its own time and therefore difficult to conceptualize. In the theoretical field, it has long ceased to be understood as an individual biological condition, and has become linked to the social, economic and environmental features that condition the health of the populations. For example, social vulnerabilities affect health and quality of life. To comprehend the health situation of the population is to understand their determinations, identifying in the territory the contexts of living at the place where they live. The objective of this research was to map the social vulnerability in the city of Cascalho Rico - MG to support preventive health programs and the con-struction of healthy enviroment. Using indicators and index that represent individual, social and pro-grammatic aspects of social vulnerability, taking into account the manifold dimensions of a population life context, such as family income, sociodemography, education, health, housing conditions and the surroundings (neighborhood). Index is an aggregated of values that aim to sumarize a situation from some indi-cadors. We propose three indexes, the Population Vulnerability Index (IVP), the Local Vulnerability Index (IVL) and the Territory Vulnerability Index (IVT), built from 37 indicators, with data from the E-SUS AB of the micro areas of the Cascalho Rico Family Health Unit, which covers 100% of the urban area to support the understanding of the situation and promote health in the city. The results show that the territories with the greatest vulnerability of the population are also those with the great-est vulnerability of the local which constitute territories of social vulnerability. The mapping of these territories of social vulnerability can support health promotion policies and the construction of healthy territories, to improve the health situation and the quality of life of the population. |
