| Summary: | Neste trabalho foi elaborado o HAZOP do reator contínuo empregado na produção de Formiato de Sódio, considerando dois cenários tipicamente encontrados em instalações industriais químicas. O foco do trabalho foi na análise da temperatura da massa reacional considerando dois desvios diferentes aplicados em variáveis de processo diferentes. O primeiro desvio foi causado por uma falha na condição aberta da válvula de controle instalada na tubulação de vapor de água saturado utilizado para o aquecimento inicial do reator e o segundo desvio foi causado por uma falha na condição fechada da válvula de controle instalada na tubulação de água de resfriamento utilizada durante a operação normal do reator. Os resultados obtidos nos cálculos realizados indicam que haveria a tendência à vaporização do conteúdo do reator em decorrência dos desvios citados. |
| Abstract: | In this work the HAZOP of the continuous reactor used in the production of Sodium Formate was elaborated, considering two scenarios typically found in chemical industrial installations. The focus of the work was on the analysis of the temperature of the reaction mass considering two different deviations applied to different process variables. The first deviation was caused by a failure in the open condition of the control valve installed in the saturated steam pipe used for the initial heating of the reactor and the second deviation was caused by a failure in the closed condition of the control valve installed in the cooling water pipe used during normal reactor operation. The results obtained in the calculations performed indicate that there would be a tendency to vaporize the reactor contents due to the mentioned deviations. |
