Summary:	O presente artigo visa dar maior compreensão ao sistema geopolítico da Federação Russa. Como ela age e o porquê de suas movimentações serem em suma maioria de cunho imperialista. Com isso, analisaremos as ligações entre Rússia e Ucrânia e como essas relações se desintegraram. Para tanto, utilizaremos de contexto a Crise Ucraniana, de 2013-2014, de modo que a mesma possa nos dar maior clareza sobre a política externa da Rússia de Vladimir Putin (no comando desde 2000) e sobre o seu comportamento para com sua região de influência e também para com o Sistema Internacional.
Abstract:	This article aims to give greater understanding to the geopolitical system of the Russian Federation. How it acts and why its movements are mostly imperialist in nature. With this, we will analyze the links between Russia and Ukraine and how these relations disintegrated. To this end, we will use the 2013-2014 Ukrainian Crisis in context, so that it can give us more clarity about Vladimir Putin's Russian foreign policy (in charge since 2000) and his behavior towards his region. influence and also towards the International System.
