| Summary: | Transcorridos mais de setenta anos da publicação da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos, elaborada e divulgada pela ONU-Organização das Nações Unidas, em 10 de dezembro de 1948, a temática dos direitos humanos apresenta uma historicidade na sociedade brasileira, visto que além de presente na pauta de interesses do campo político, configurada no ordenamento jurídico-político nacional – disseminada em vários artigos e dispositivos da Constituição de 1988 – e pré-requisito nas relações diplomáticas internacionais, proporciona processos subjetivos, representados na produção e divulgação de distintos afetos e emoções pelos múltiplos atores e grupos sociais. Desse modo, a presente pesquisa, intitulada O Malestar nos direitos humanos: afetos políticos e os direitos humanos no Brasil (1945-1964), visa, principalmente, investigar como os direitos humanos foram geridos afetivamente por privilegiados grupos sociais brasileiros, a saber, diplomatas, juristas e jornalistas, durante as duas décadas subsequentes ao pós-guerra. A transformação dos direitos humanos em objeto simbólico do Estado brasileiro, por meio da política institucional, da diplomacia e da academia, e da grande imprensa jornalística do período, sobretudo no eixo Rio de Janeiro-São Paulo, possibilitou o seu uso e gestão nos desdobramentos político-ideológicos da guerra fria, utilizando-se como ferramenta simbólica anticomunista, incentivando ódios e rejeições à União Soviética e ao comunismo, como, em contrapartida, despertando euforia, expectativa e confiança em relação aos valores liberais-democráticos do Ocidente. |
| Abstract: | More than seventy years after the publication of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, prepared and released by the UN-United Nations on December 10th 1948, the theme of human rights presents a historicity in Brazilian society, since besides being present in the agenda of interests of the political field, configured in the national legal-political order – disseminated in various articles and provisions of the 1988 Constitution – and prerequisite in international diplomatic relations, provides subjective processes, represented in the production and dissemination of different affects and emotions by the multiple actors and social groups. Thus, the present research, entitled The uneasiness in Human Rights: Political Affects and Human Rights in Brazil (1945-1964), aims mainly to investigate how human rights were emotionally managed by privileged brazilian social groups, namely: diplomats, jurists and journalists during the two decades following the postwar period. The transformation of human rights into a symbolic object of the brazilian state, through institutional politics, diplomacy and academy, and the great journalistic press of the period, especially in the Rio de Janeiro-São Paulo axis, made possible its use and management in the political-ideological developments of the cold war, using as an anti-communist symbolic tool, encouraging hatred and rejection towards the Soviet Union and communism, as well as arousing euphoria, expectation and confidence regarding the liberal-democratic values of the Western. |
