| Resumo: | A tese de doutorado que se apresenta tem por objetivo diagnosticar a concepção estilística e histórica de Nelson Rodrigues (1916-1962) sobre o Rio de Janeiro, no período em que fixou residência na cidade. Desvenda-se uma ampla capacidade do escritor de adentrar à realidade a qual estava inserido, seja no campo teatral ou jornalístico, espaços que transmitiu impressões sobre a vida; bem como, destacar a experiência de Nelson Rodrigues enquanto produtor de cultura escrita no Rio de Janeiro e de mobilizar o eixo temático da família carioca imersa na transformação do espaço citadino. A pesquisa busca ancorar o seu referencial teórico no paradigma indiciário de Carlo Ginzburg que procura decifrar a realidade a partir dos detalhes, sinais, indícios e da visão emblemática de uma determinada realidade social. Isso significa que o olhar está voltado para o comum, o banal, e o cotidiano que se torna matéria prima original na representação do homem moderno. Logo, a família é uma categoria presente, de forma atuante, na historicidade do pensamento de Nelson Rodrigues, habilidoso em retratar a sociabilidade carioca da zona norte. Imbuído de uma imaginação criativa e sensível ao real, nesse processo, está a cidade como panorama de transformação dos indivíduos que nela habitam, corporificando práticas sociais diferentes. Por esse viés, a percepção de várias cidades dentro de uma só, alimenta toda a habilidade do escritor em recriar pela ótica ficcional os seus tipos sociais, permeados de ritmos de vivências urbanas, revelando a heterogeneidade de sua narrativa. Procura-se através de uma metodologia de análise de suas obras teatrais e jornalísticas perceber o íntimo social de um escritor que busca, diante da época de sua vivência, situar sua concepção crítica sobre o que é estar sentindo as transformações históricas de seu tempo, numa eterna visão romântica da vida. | Abstract: | The doctoral thesis presented here aims to diagnose Nelson Rodrigues' stylistic and historical conception (1916-1962) about Rio de Janeiro, during the period when he took up residence in the city. A wide capacity of the writer to discover the reality to which he was inserted, both in the theatrical and journalistic fields, reveals spaces that transmitted impressions about life; as well as to highlight Nelson Rodrigues' experience as a producer of written culture in Rio de Janeiro and to mobilize the thematic axis of the carioca family immersed in the transformation of the city space. The research seeks to anchor its theoretical framework in the indicative paradigm of Carlo Ginzburg that seeks to decipher reality from the details, signs, evidence and the emblematic vision of a given social reality. This means that the gaze is turned to the common, the banal, and the everyday that becomes the original raw material in the representation of modern man. Therefore, the family is an active category, present in the historicity of Nelson Rodrigues' thinking, skilled in portraying Rio's sociability in the northern zone. Imbued with a creative imagination and sensitive to the real, in this process, the city is seen as a panorama of transformation of the individuals who inhabit it, embodying different social practices. Due to this bias, the perception of several cities within one, feeds all the writer's ability to recreate his social types through fictional optics, permeated by the rhythms of urban experiences, revealing the heterogeneity of his narrative. Through a methodology of analysis of his theatrical and journalistic works, he seeks to perceive the social intimacy of a writer who, in view of the time of his experience, seeks to situate his critical conception of what it is to be feeling the historical transformations of his time, in a eternal romantic view of life.
