As medidas socioeducativas aplicadas pelo CREAS em Ituiutaba/MG, na perspectiva da família e do adolescente, autor de ato infracional

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to make an analysis of the socio-educational measures (SEM) applied to adolescents who are authors of infractions, attended by the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (SRCSA) of the municipality of Ituiutaba / MG, from the perspective of the adolescents and their families. The specific objectives of this research are: to analyze youth violence in Brazil; make a historical survey of public policies aimed at children and adolescents; analyze the SEM applied to adolescents in conflict with the law, based on the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (SCA) and the National System of Socio-Educational Assistance (NSSEA); to learn about the work done by SRCSA directed to the application of SEM; analyze the profile of adolescents. It was assumed that the SEM applied in the municipality of Ituiutaba did not meet the SCA and NSSEA proposals regarding the strengthening of family ties and the social reintegration of adolescents in conflict with the law. To achieve these objectives, the researcher used bibliographical research, documentary research, empirical and exploratory research at the SEM application site. As a result, it was found that adolescents in compliance with SEM in the municipality of Ituiutaba have the same profile as the maps of violence in Brazil. Regarding the application of the measures, it was concluded that despite the advances in public policies, the SEM applied in the municipality of Ituiutaba do not reach the objectives proposed by the SCA, which are the social reintegration and the strengthening of family ties.
