| Summary: | Este trabalho é fruto de uma pesquisa que buscou investigar como a arte tem se relacionado com o problema de maus tratos em animais. Para tanto, o projeto realizou um levantamento de notícias de jornais e revistas que abordavam o tema do uso de animais em eventos, atrações turísticas e outras formas de entretenimento humano. Paralelamente, a pesquisa também mapeou dentro do universo da arte contemporânea obras que utilizam animais. Durante o desenvolvimento deste trabalho, analiso como todas estas atividades afetam a vida dos animais. Ao final, apresento o resultado de uma produção de tirinhas de minha autoria, o processo de criação, e disserto sobre o modo como cada notícia influenciou tais tirinhas. |
| Abstract: | This work is the result of research that sought to investigate how art has been related to the problem of mistreatment in animals. To this end, the project conducted a survey of news from newspapers and magazines that addressed the theme of the use of animals in events, tourist attractions and other forms of human entertainment. At the same time, the research also mapped within the universe of contemporary art works that use animals. During the development of this work, I analyze how all these activities affect the lives of animals. In the end, I present the result of a production of comic strips of my own, the process of creation, and I say about how each news influenced such strips. |
