Aborto legal: um breve estudo acerca dos entraves que permeiam o acesso de mulheres e adolescentes vítimas de violência sexual ao direito de abortamento seguro

Abstract

The present work proposes, through a bibliographical review, a discussion, supported by studies already published, on the care offered in the public health system to the victims of sexual violence who wish to perform legal abortion. Violence against women is considered a violation of human rights, a social phenomenon, built culturally throughout different historical periods. In the midst of society, violence externalizes a character of submission, with values entrenched in the patriarchalism rooted in distinct cultures, where the female voice is constrained, thus reaching the figure in its psychic, moral and physical integrity. The method used for data collection was through a bibliographic survey considering studies in the databases MedLine, Lilacs, Scielo, and the descriptors were: sexual violence and legal abortion. The objective of this review is to corroborate the research already carried out on this issue and also to reinforce the importance of a more humanized care for the victims. Given the data collected, it was identified that there are few studies regarding the subject, not different with specific literature of the Social Service, regarding violence. Another factor is that there is a difficulty in proposing actions that guarantee the integrality of the services recommended, given the existence of legislation that defends the right to abortion in situations of sexual violence, yet it is perceived that the State can not guarantee the full right. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, it remains to articulate, strengthen and materialize the movement for the rights of users of the service, working to consolidate and expand public policies aimed at gender equality and the eradication of sexual violence. As well, aim for the effective pursuit of actions and even, strengthening of social movements.
