Análise comparativa entre custos de uma edificação construída em alvenaria estrutural e redimensionada em concreto armado

Abstract

The present work intends to compare economically two construction systems, structural masonry with concrete blocks and conventional reinforced concrete with ceramic blocks for sealing, from a model building. The re-design of this building, already calculated in structural masonry, was done for the reinforced concrete system. Due to the emergence of new technologies in the field of construction, it is necessary to do preliminary design studies of each method, considering the architectural project, loads acting on the structure and height of the building, so that the system more technically and economically suitable for each type of construction can be used. Initially, a brief bibliographic review of the constructive systems under study is presented, showing its history, definition, main characteristics and component elements, as well as describing the computational program used for the re-design of the building for reinforced concrete. Subsequently, the example building is displayed and how the new structural calculation in reinforced concrete was performed. Afterwards, a quantitative survey of the materials and labor used in the structure and sealing of both systems was carried out, and then the budget was drawn up. From the results obtained, an economic comparison was made between the systems, with the objective of presenting an estimate of prices that can be a reference in the choice of the best constructive system to be adopted.
