Abstract

The present work deals with the life of the Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner and his childish questions until the meeting with the one that would be the basis for the foundation of his Anthroposophy: Goethe. At this point it goes on to study the concept of thought of Rudolf Steiner in three of his works, namely: Goethe's cognitive method, the conference The practical education of thought and Intuitive thinking as a spiritual path: a philosophy of freedom, a work that according to the author himself the philosophical foundations of his Spiritual Science. The work will make the author's journey through these works, analyzing the importance of such concept and the relation of the concept studied in the works with the way of the man to know the world, through observation and perception, as well as the relationship with his daily life. It will also address the relationship between thought and consciousness, explaining why thought precedes it. It will also explain the monistic view that the author defends and sustains through the way he conceptualizes thought.
