Arranjo Físico: proposta de reformulação do arranjo físico de uma empresa do setor metalúrgico

Abstract

The competitiveness between the companies grows every year due to the large offer of products and consumers always more demanding. With this the profit margin of the companies are always being reduced and there is no room for errors, continuous improvement should always be implemented, with the continuous exercise of waste reduction and always seeking improvements in the productive system. The present research tends to analyze the current physical arrangement of a company of the metallurgical sector, to verify which the problems caused by the current layout, as they influence negatively in the company, to analyze the existing methods for the development of physical arrangement, to verify which the most adequate to be used in the present research, to demonstrate the current production flow, to use the necessary tools and suggested by the chosen method and to develop a proposal of a new physical arrangement, seeking the improvement of the production flow of all the products commercialized by the studied company, to highlight the improvements that will be reached, besides solving the problems caused by the current layout.
