| Summary: | O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a participação das mulheres nos cargos de negociações do clima que ocorrem na Convenção-Quadro das Nações Unidas Sobre Mudanças Climáticas (UNFCCC), com foco no monitoramento da participação feminina nos escritórios e delegações da Convenção no período compreendido entre 2013 e 2018. O propósito será analisar a participação de mulheres nas negociações climáticas, levando em consideração as medidas inclusivas de gênero desenvolvidas pela própria Convenção ao longo das reuniões anuais das Partes. Para esta análise a pesquisa utiliza fontes primárias e secundárias, com destaque para os documentos oficiais da UNFCCC, bem como a literatura especializada no debate sobre gênero, com contribuições de Neumayer e Plümper (2007) e Hemmati e Röhr (2009), além de contar com uma introdução teórica sobre as mulheres no ambiente de negociação. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this article is to analyze the participation of women in the positions of climate negotiations that take place in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), with a focus on monitoring women's participation in the offices and delegations of the Convention in the period between 2013 and 2018. The purpose will be to analyze the participation of women in climate negotiations, taking into account the gender-inclusive measures developed by the Convention itself at the annual meetings of the Parties. For this analysis, the research uses primary and secondary sources, with emphasis on the official UNFCCC documents, as well as the specialized literature on the gender debate, with contributions by Neumayer and Plümper (2007) and Hemmati and Röhr (2009) with a theoretical introduction on women in the trading environment. |
