Uso de sistema integrado de gestão empresarial como ferramenta de gerenciamento de empresas de engenharia civil

Abstract

This work presents an analysis of the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) by civil engineering companies. Based on the observation that many companies still do not use such a tool, this works had tried to understand the reasons behind this fact. For that, a survey was carried out with civil engineering companies and a simulation of the use of an ERP system in order to understand the reality of such organizations, identifying the main systems used and the difficulties found for application. It was observed that there are several systems available on the market. Users were satisfied with the system used and they pointing to the advantage of easy learning and recommended improvements in the interface and speed of system. The simulation with ERP indicated that using system could improve the flow of information within a company, making tasks faster and easier, as well as easy of easy tool operation. The results obtained show that ERP systems can contribute to management in civil engineering due to the greater integration of processes.
