| Summary: | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo entender se a escolaridade elevada impacta de forma positiva, negativa ou nula o endividamento. A amostra para a pesquisa é composta por indivíduos que residem no município de Uberlândia-MG e região e possuem escolaridade elevada (graduação incompleta ou completa ou pós-graduação). Utilizou-se de um questionário estruturado e da análise estatística qui-quadrado para alcançar os objetivos do trabalho, com período de coleta de dados entre agosto e setembro de 2018. Os resultados indicaram que a escolaridade exerce pouca influência em relação ao endividamento. Porém, concluiu-se que quanto maior disponibilidade de crédito, maior a propensão ao endividamento. |
| Abstract: | The present study had as objective to understand if the schooling increases positively, negatively or null impact the indebtedness. The sample for the research is composed of individuals residing in the municipality of Uberlândia-MG and region and have high schooling (incomplete or complete graduation or post-graduation). A structured questionnaire and chi-square statistical analyzes were used to reach the objectives of the study, during the collection period in August and September of 2018. The results indicated that education has little influence in relation to indebtedness. However, it was concluded that the greater the availability of credit, the higher the propensity for indebtedness. |
