Análise comparativa do comportamento estrutural das longarinas do projeto da ponte sobre o ribeirão São Félix em situação de alargamento

Abstract

With the modification of current traffic patterns, many bridges and viaducts are getting obsolete transversal gauges thereby, the responsibility of engineers to study widened decks methodologies increases. This paper presents the comparative analysis of the structural behavior of the bridge’s stringer over the Ribeirão São Félix, located on the LMG – 746, highway in the Monte Carmelo - Chapada de Minas in a possible widening situation. Initially, a conceptual research on the methodologies of widening; was prepared, posteriorly with the aid of AutoCAD, there was the proposition of the enlargement to be realized in the bridge in analysis. The study counts on the comparison of the soliciting efforts and the flexural and shear reinforcement in the spars in two situations: bridge with the original design deck and the extended deck. Calculations concerning the stringer in the widening situation were performed using the Ftool 4.0 computational tool, AutoCAD and Excel spreadsheets. In order to carry out the comparison of the projects, it was necessary to understand the considerations of the designer of the bridge in order to justify the differentiation of calculations. As a complement, an executive scheme was proposed to enable the widening.
