Antagonismo, reconhecimento e a emergência de conflitos: um estudo comparativo pelas perspectivas teóricas de Axel Honneth e Ernesto Laclau

Abstract

This paper intent to present an investigation about the emergence of conflicts, seeking new forms to analyze how human beings, in the role of social actors, interact with each other and with the world. This exercise is based on the theoretical framework developed by Axel Honneth and Ernesto Laclau, in order to build an understanding that helps in the comprehension and interpretation of these phenomena in the social sphere. Following the aims of an explanatory qualitative research, the comparative method is used to analyze the perspectives of both authors. In this sense, highlighting differences and similarities in the theoretical approaches of both authors, this paper reaches a perspective that proposes the formation of identities to understand how conflicts emerge, besides the proposal on how this is applied empirically in the area of International Relations.
